Good conversations deserve better than a screenshot.

Why it exists

More and more real work happens in chats with Claude — research, plans, code reviews, lesson notes, drafts. Claude can export the documents it creates, but not the conversation that produced them. People end up copying replies one by one, cleaning up Markdown symbols and retyping formulas.

We built DocMyChat so that saving a conversation takes one click and gives you something you would put your name on: a clean PDF, an editable Word file or a tidy Markdown note.

How we build it

• Private by design. Documents are made in your browser. There is no DocMyChat server that receives your chats, and no analytics in the extension or on this site.
• Narrow on purpose. One button, the formats people actually use, sensible defaults. No dashboards, no settings pages.
• Faithful output. Equations, code, tables, diagrams and the files Claude made should come through as they were — that is the whole point.
• Fixed fast. claude.ai changes often. When it breaks something, fixing it comes first.

What’s next

DocMyChat for Claude is the first extension. DocMyChat for ChatGPT will follow as a separate extension built on the same engine, with the same privacy rules.
